Unsure if You're Ready?

GED exams are a high school equivalency exam.  There are 5 parts to the exam:

  • Mathematics (Part I and II)
  • Science
  • Language Arts, Reading
  • Language Arts, Writing (Part I and II)
  • Social Studies

To receive a High School Equivalency Diploma by writing GED tests, a person must meet of the following eligibility requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Have been out of school for at least 10 consecutive months
  • Pass all five tests in the General Educational Development (GED) test battery, with a standard score of 450 or better for each test
  • Meet the eligibility requirements



To get your High School Equivalency Diploma you must pass all 5 GED tests with a minimum standard score of 450 on each test. A&D Tutoring can help you pass the GED exam.
